The Senior Service Delivery Manager
Responsible for all aspects of Service Delivery Management for Corporate and Tournament technology support operations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup (FWWC27) within Brazil.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and implement a fit‑for‑purpose integrated support model across all phases of the project.
Manage and implement IT Service Management processes and procedures, including management of the ITSM tool.
Establish service level agreements (SLAs) in accordance with the FIFA Technology Handbook across all technology services.
Lead the Service Delivery area within the FWWC27 Technology Project team.
Recruit and manage direct reports in the next phase of hiring & contracting.
Define and manage asset tracking and deployment of equipment across all sites.
Ensure all tasks and deliverables are completed to scope, within budget and on schedule.
Continuously review and recommend improvements to technology across the tournament.
Contribute to the Technology readiness program, including test events, exercises, policies, procedures and training.
Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation and FIFA Technology team.
Lead, build and manage a diverse team of paid staff, contractors, and volunteers for operating technology services.
Your Profile
University degree or similar higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 8 years overall IT experience, including a minimum of 4 years in a similar role.
Experience in the Sports / major event industry.
Proven track record of successful delivery of complex IT programs and projects.
Strong IT skills and relevant knowledge in Service Delivery Management.
Good procurement and contract management skills.
Highly adept at consulting, negotiating, communicating, consensus building and facilitation.
Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent people management, verbal and written communication, training and presentation skills.
Team player, willing to work with tight timelines.
Positive attitude, patience and persistence.
ITIL foundations.
Right to work in Brazil.
Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Portuguese (spoken and written).
Proficiency in any other FIFA language (FR / ES / GER) is an asset.
Willing to travel within Brazil (up to 20%) and relocate to Rio de Janeiro.
