Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Services. The ideal candidate will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver clean, reliable datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Services.
* Work with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver clean, reliable datasets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
* Develop and maintain knowledge of new technologies and methodologies to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience with columnar and table formats such as Parquet, Delta, Hudi, and Iceberg.
* Knowledge of data quality tools like Great Expectations and Soda.
* Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with data modeling.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
