SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of U.S. Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the revenue growth and profitability of the assigned Mid-West region. The Regional Sales Manager will achieve this goal by driving revenue through Seek Fire Channels.

SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of U.S. Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the revenue growth and profitability of the assigned Mid-West region. The Regional Sales Manager will achieve this goal by driving revenue through Seek Fire Channels.
The Regional Sales Manager will develop and expand relationships throughout the region. The Sales Manager will be the face of the Seek brand with our dealers/distributors and Seek Fire Product end-users, executing and managing all sales, and training efforts for the Seek Fire Products brand.
Responsibilities
1. The territory to be covered is the Mid-West region including ND, SD, NE, IA, KS, MO, MN, IL, MI, WI, IN, OH, KY. Meet and exceed the assigned sales goals for the territory.
2. Evaluate and appoint new dealer & distribution channels as required. Training, motivating and working with the distributors to drive demand of Seek Fire Products.
3. Travel to key metros in your territory each quarter. Up to 75% travel required given the large territory with significant business opportunities.
4. Organize travel months in advance to prioritize valuable activities, maximizing reach and effectiveness.
5. Drive end-user demand by meeting regularly with key departments and training centers in your territory.
6. Focus on education by executing and coordinating over 150 burns per year.
7. Set up and agree on sales goals and objectives with distributors. Request sales forecasts in an effective and timely manner.
8. Update Seek's CRM daily with activity reporting and opportunity management.
9. Conduct sales and product training sessions for distributors using established programs to enable active selling.
10. Negotiate dealer agreements, ensuring minimum annual commitments are achieved.
11. Develop and manage marketing activities like promotional events, training, and trade shows.
12. Manage inbound leads and drive them to closure.
13. Recruit, train, and manage manufacturer representative partners to meet sales targets and support channels.
14. Manage customer relationships to encourage product consumption and sales.
15. Communicate progress of initiatives to stakeholders.
16. Develop and track key customer and dealer metrics, ensuring meaningful deals are closed.
17. Assist with high-severity requests or escalations as needed.
Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities
1. Ability to sell solutions and manage long sales cycles.
2. Selling into the Fire Channel required.
3. Start-up experience and ability to work independently remotely.
4. Proven project management and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
5. Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
6. Strong CRM, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and computer skills.
7. High self-initiative and integrity.
8. Aggressive sales professional with relationship-building skills.
9. Experience managing channel sales of technology products/hardware is a plus.
10. Quick learner of complex technologies.
11. Ability to combine technical knowledge with sales and communication skills.
12. Proficient in writing proposals, giving presentations, system demonstrations, forecasting, and closing deals.
13. Sales hunter mentality, opportunity identification, value selling, and partnership building.
14. Strategic sales planning for revenue growth and execution.
Minimum Requirements
1. 50-75% travel time required.
2. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
3. 5-7 years as a regional sales manager or similar role in the fire channel.
4. Thermal experience is a plus but not required.
