SKILLS is seeking a new employee in Community Membership/Home Supports for a 22-hour part time position supporting an individual in their home in the greater Augusta area (Windsor, China, Readfield, Augusta, Winthrop).
Hours: Monday 9A-1P, Tuesday 8:30A-12:30P, Wednesday 8:30A-12:30P & 2P-5P, Thursday 9A-1P and Saturday 12P-3P
Support may include:
Assistance with meal prep and planning
Kitchen safety skills
Grocery shopping
Helping with budgeting, banking, medical appointments, and other household tasks
Going out in the community to help find natural supports including learning about organizations or clubs they may want to join, taking a class, volunteering, explore jobs, meet new people and build friendships
HOME SUPPORT AND COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP 1 ON 1 HOURS RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL $2 PER HOUR!! SKILLS offers paid training (no experience necessary!).
