Product Design Leader Job Description
We are transforming the construction industry by building a marketplace for equipment rentals, portable toilets, and roll-off dumpsters.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a product design strategy that meets customer needs and supplier requirements.
* Create and maintain UI/UX standards that reflect simplicity, trust, and efficiency across platforms.
* Design AI-native experiences where agentic systems interact seamlessly with users, data, and decisions.
* Conduct user research and usability testing to inform product development.
* Mentor and grow a team of designers as we scale our business.
Requirements
* Battle-tested designer with experience shipping real products in fast-paced environments.
* Ai-forward mindset with the ability to design natural and empowering user experiences.
* Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a rapidly changing environment.
* Technical skills include:
o UI/UX design (Figma, Sketch, or equivalent)
o Strong UX research and prototyping chops
o Design systems and component libraries
o Understanding of modern frontend frameworks (bonus: Flutter, React)
o Experience designing for Ai interactions (chat, agents, workflows)
* Startup mentality with a willingness to go beyond job responsibilities.
* Industry experience: Construction tech or marketplaces a huge plus.
