Required skills: - Minimum 3 years experience developing in Python - Experience using the Mari and/or Substance Python API - Experience working with PySide2 and OpenImageIO - Full professional proficiency in English - Bonus experience below: - Experience working (not coding) with Mari and Substance Painter and Designer - Experience with some of the following Python packages: pyblish, flowpipe, sqlalchemy, pytorch - USD - any level - Test driven development - Machine-learning experience in general - C++ - Web-development (react) responsibilities: - Work on a new state-of-the-art texture/material-library together with our AI department - Implement and maintain the UI that connects the texture/material-library to Mari, Substance and Houdini - Help transition our Mari and Substance pipeline from using alembic/obj files towards using USD - Connect Substance Painter and Designer to our pipeline - Implement our internal project-explorer, - Implement a texture publishing process - Implement automatic baking of tech-maps for all maya model-publishes - Update our Mari texture-publishing to use the same functions that the Substance publish is using - Implement and maintain quality-control mechanisms in the publish process - Create and maintain tools for artists - Support artists on pipeline related issues
