**Who You'll Work With**:
- You will be based in one of our offices in Latin America - Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Sao Paulo (Brazil) or Santiago (Chile).- You will work with clients and internal teams to prepare GHG emission analyses and to develop bespoke decarbonization pathways, leveraging our proprietary emission factor and lever databases.- You will bring your previous experience to help clients design and improve their GHG measurement practices, define decarbonization pathways and enable them to meet their decarbonization ambitions.- You will work with a variety of colleagues (development, service delivery, management, client development). They will be based in different offices across from around the globe. They all have a common passion for sustainability, digital innovation and smart business processes.**What You'll Do**:
- You’ll be supporting our capabilities in the topic - helping our clients define their greenhouse gas baselines, define their decarbonization ambition, identify the most cost-effective reduction levers, and help implement their decarbonization plans so they can achieve their targets.- You will help to support decarbonization analyses by using multiple data sources, working with the client service teams to fit client context, and enhance tools to further support more client engagements and bring impact. You will work directly with sustainability leadership to ensure the planning, execution, and insights from our capabilities meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with Catalyst Zero Solutions team to administer the tool, manage client relationships, and work directly with McKinsey client service teams delivering tools and assets with their clients.- We recently announced the launch of McKinsey Sustainability, our new client-service platform with the goal of helping all industry sectors transform to get to net zero by 2050 and to cut carbon emissions by half by 2030. McKinsey Sustainability seeks to be the preeminent impact partner and advisor for our clients, from the board room to the engine room, on sustainability, climate, energy transition, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG).**Qualifications**:
- University graduate in business, sustainability or engineering
- Experience in carbon baselining/accounting and/or quantifying decarbonization initiatives
- Passion for sustainability and/or ESG
- Experience in technology consultancy and/or implementing or supporting SaaS or web-based services is a plus
- Experience building digital tools is a plus
- Strong command of MS Excel; knowledge of JSON is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills developing quantitative models
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable with risk taking and ambiguity
- Very good communication skills to facilitate discussions and conduct trainings
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder groups
- Fluency in English
