Backend Developer Role
Our organization seeks a skilled backend developer who excels in C#/.NET and focuses on creating maintainable, scalable, and secure code.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and Maintain Applications: Build, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using C#/.NET and integrate with APIs like Plaid, Dwolla, and Treasury Prime.
* Shape System Architecture: Contribute to system design, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across FinTech applications.
* Write Quality Code: Implement and test maintainable, well-documented code, with a focus on automation and software best practices.
* Support Production Systems: Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution.
* Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with front-end, QA, product, and IT teams, while mentoring junior engineers.
* Focus on Security and Compliance: Embed security best practices and maintain compliance with FinTech regulations.
Requirements:
* Strong Technical Expertise: Solid foundation in design patterns, software development best practices, and principles like SOLID and Clean Code.
* Commitment to Software Quality: Hands-on experience with unit testing, mocking, integration testing, and ensuring code coverage.
* Experience and Education: 6+ years of back-end software development experience, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
