ASMPT in Manaus, Brazil is looking for a Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will sell products, solutions and services to new and / or existing customers directly or through sales channels and establishes and / or maintain customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities and Duties / Essential Functions:
* Guides to the overall operation of a territory and/or sales channels to ensure the achievement of business targets.
* Works with channels partners to develop strategic plans to penetrate new customers
* Conduct regular business review meetings with each channel partner to cover sales volume plan, key customer activities, target accounts, etc
* Guides efforts of sales and support engineers, channel partners, and administrative personnel.
* Guides brand strategy to meet or exceed objectives established for each brand.
* Develop growth forecasts for the entire region and/or sales channels to ensure the highest level of service
* Maintains current knowledge of market conditions and competitor's activities to develop sales plans that achieve or exceed sales goals.
* Develop and implement an account development plan that meets and optimizes revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction / loyalty directly or through channer partner.
* Tracks and reports ongoing business results compared to the plan's established goals and executes corrective action when needed.
* Initiates, builds, maintains long-term relationships with the appropriate account decision makers directly or through channer partner.
* Develops a complete understanding of the organization's structure and key buying influences on assigned accounts.
* Delivers client presentations explaining the value proposition of product/solution/ service offerings.
* Prepare products and solutions quotes according to customer applications and demands.
* Maintain sales forecast, customer data and sales process tracking using company CRM tools.

* Must be fluent in English and Portuguese – speaking, reading and writing
* Bilingual in Spanish preferred
* Must be able to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
Education and Experience:
* BA/BS Degree in Business or Engineering. MBA preferred. May consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 10+ years of successful experience / proven track record in sales of SMT or related production equipment
* Extensive knowledge of electronic manufacturing industry and experience in value selling
