The Challenge Looking ahead to 2030, we are targeting reducing GHG emissions from cotton production by half, big cuts in synthetic pesticide use, improve soil health across our network, improve farm income and support women’s empowerment among farmers and farm workers. As Membership & Supply Chain Officer, you will be responsible for supports members and supply chain actors to achieve their Better Cotton sourcing targets by enabling access to the Better Cotton Platform, delivering insights through reporting, and supporting stakeholder engagement process, training and events, which contribute to systemic change towards more sustainable cotton production. You will provide high quality administrative support to the LATAM/Portugal Team, and support reporting for the region. Areas that play to your strengths We are seeking a motivated Membership & Supply Chain Officer to join our Membership and Supply Chain Team. Membership Engagement & Support - Recruit and onboard new members and suppliers. - Guide applicants through documentation, cotton consumption calculations, and compliance steps. - Respond to stakeholder queries via Helpdesk and escalate when needed. - Support external communications and awareness of Better Cotton initiatives. Supply Chain Operations - Monitor and troubleshoot account creation and transaction processes. - Clean and validate data to ensure system accuracy and compliance. - Compile and analyze KPIs (e.g., uptake rates, inventory structures). - Deliver supplier training programs (online and in-person). - Collaborate with internal teams to improve tools and processes. Reporting & Administration - Provide high-quality administrative support to the LATAM/Portugal team. - Support regional reporting and performance monitoring. - Translate and adapt tools and documents for cultural and linguistic relevance.
