What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
* Provide training and technical assistance (TTA) to grantees related to school readiness and family engagement
* Assist grantees in implementing child assessment, curriculum, and teaching methods appropriate for children from birth to five
* Facilitate improvements in teacher/child interactions based on the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS)
* Analyze and aggregate data to help grantees make informed decisions
* Support the development and implementation of family engagement practices aligned with the Parent Family and Community Engagement (PFCE) Framework
What is Required (Qualifications)
* A minimum of a BA or BS Degree in Early Childhood Education/Development from an accredited university or college
* At least 5 years of experience in programs for young children from birth to five years of age
* 1+ year of experience working with infants and toddlers
* 1+ year of experience in family engagement
* 1+ year of experience analyzing data and assisting programs in making data-driven decisions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
* Knowledge of Head Start programs
* Experience working within a Head Start Program
* Experience facilitating group discussions and presenting to diverse audiences
