We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead over two teams (formed by professionals across Business Analysis and Development). The role ensures predictable, high‑quality delivery, strong Agile execution, team performance, and alignment with global standards in a complex matrix environment.
This position is ideal for an engineering leader with deep experience in Agile delivery, people leadership, KPIs, governance, and stakeholder management across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Delivery & Governance
* Drive predictable and high‑quality delivery across two regional engineering teams.
* Monitor and improve metrics such as velocity, cycle time, defect rate, rework, and release accuracy.
* Ensure adherence to global architectural, governance and security standards.
* Maintain full visibility of the delivery pipeline and escalate risks proactively.
* Align regional execution with global product and platform expectations.
People Leadership & Team Development
* Lead Scrum Masters and Technical Product Owners, with oversight of ~20 BAs and Developers.
* Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, development plans and capability assessments.
* Identify skills gaps, strengths, and opportunities for growth within the teams.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
* Identify and eliminate delivery inefficiencies.
* Improve Agile ceremonies, backlog quality, engineering practices and release processes.
* Promote engineering best practices and productivity improvements throughout LATAM.
Regional & Global Alignment
* Translate business and regional priorities into actionable engineering plans.
* Navigate a global matrix structure, collaborating with leaders across regions and functions.
* Communicate delivery status, feasibility, risks and dependencies to global and regional stakeholders.
* Balance regional needs while ensuring consistency with global standards.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
* Extensive background in IT, with proven experience in Agile management.
* Experience managing teams of at least 10 people.
* Proven leadership in Agile, engineering delivery and team development.
* Strong experience working within global matrix organizations.
* Hands‑on experience with delivery KPIs and engineering metrics.
* Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory)
