Position Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Financial News Writer with reporting and/or journalistic background. An ideal candidate has worked at a financial print media (newspaper or magazine) or financial news outlets (TV) with a sharp eye for the markets and a strong grasp of both traditional finance and the crypto/fintech space. You should be fluent in both English and Portuguese and capable of crafting clear written financial summaries, informing commentaries, and engaging content for a diverse and curious audiences.
Responsibilities:
* Write timely, insightful in-house (for clients only) articles and commentaries on global markets, crypto, macroeconomics, and financial trends.
* Coordinate with social media team so that comments, captions, and illustrations properly reflect company’s economic views and outlook and product.
* Work closely with marketing team to craft informing and engaging and easy-to-understand communication and messages.
* Contribute to other formats like newsletters, videos, and podcast.
Requirements:
* Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
* Based in São Paulo, Brazil
* Background in finance, economics, or journalism
* Strong writing skills and a clear, concise communication style
* Solid understanding of global markets, crypto, and macroeconomic trends
* Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
Nice to Have:
* Experience in financial journalism or research
* Familiarity with financial platforms like Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet
* Previously published content (articles, blogs, newsletters, etc.)
* Social media or multimedia storytelling experience
