Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Appian Developer.
In this role, you will be involved in the design, development, architecture, implementation, and support of end-to-end business applications with the Appian BPM platform.
Responsibilities
* Provide SME / Managerial level support for Appian.
* Ensure services are delivered in line with the agreed service level targets.
* Provide escalation support and focus on addressing service delivery issues.
* Identify and facilitate delivery of service improvements.
* Communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
* Possess significant experience in delivery and operational support of IT services in a multi-application environment.
* Work flexibly across multiple time zones and support global production systems outside standard hours.
* Develop and maintain a strong knowledge repository and mentor team members.
* Troubleshoot issues and provide resolutions under high-pressure environments.
* Support 24x5 mission-critical environments and raise incident/problem tickets as required.
* Conduct root cause analysis and support change & release management processes.
* Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support proactive monitoring of systems.
* Assist with ad hoc business requests and support key business periods.
* Participate in team meetings, goal planning, and development activities.
* Design, build, and configure applications based on business requirements.
* Communicate effectively within global teams and with business units.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
* Experience in supporting IT systems and databases.
Preferred Skills
* Development of Appian objects, API, and integrations.
* Knowledge of Appian design patterns, process models, and data integrations.
* Experience in architecture, SDLC, API, microservices, and databases.
* Proficiency in PL/SQL, MariaDB, and related development work.
* Knowledge of insurance domain is a plus.
* Certifications in Appian (L2), Java, Cloud are desirable.
* Willingness to work in a 24x5 support environment and support shifts.
* ITIL foundation or relevant support experience.
* Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, BMC Remedy.

The annual compensation range is approximately $55,000 to $68,500, based on experience and location.
Note: Work-from-anywhere roles exclude Los Angeles candidates; location-based roles may vary.
