Sales Development Representative Team Manager
Canonical is a global leader in open‑source software and the creator of Ubuntu, a platform widely used in enterprise cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. We are expanding our sales and field engineering teams worldwide and are looking for SDR Team Managers to lead inbound and outbound teams.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of 2–10 SDRs/BDRs, driving high-quality outbound and inbound sales development.
Develop a multi‑million dollar pipeline and manage lead qualification to deliver results for the sales organization.
Implement and refine sales processes, coaching, and best practices to build a strong culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Use data analytics to track team performance, identify gaps, and drive improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Product, and Customer Success) to align on go‑to‑market strategy.
Stay informed about new technologies, market trends, and emerging outbound approaches.
Qualifications
Excellent academic record; Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business or STEM.
Track record of delivering outstanding outbound sales development results.
Strong understanding of business development, sales, and technology.
Leadership experience – either formal management or proven mentorship.
Data‑driven mindset with the ability to use metrics to guide team activities and improvement.
Creative problem‑solving skills and collaboration across teams.
Commitment to continuous learning, growth, and a willingness to experiment with new approaches.
