Overview
Teceze is seeking a dedicated and proactive on‑site IT Support Engineer to deliver hands‑on technical support for our client's local infrastructure, end‑users, and critical systems. The role ensures smooth IT operations, continuity of services, and timely resolution of incidents.
Key Responsibilities / Scope of Work
* Provide on‑site support for resolving technical incidents related to infrastructure, systems, and end‑user devices.
* Perform monitoring and maintenance of IT equipment and infrastructure to ensure uptime and reliability.
* Deliver desktop and user support for local staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
* Conduct preventive maintenance activities such as security checks, system health checks, and patch updates.
* Coordinate critical service requests with remote teams and external vendors as needed.
* Escalate complex incidents to higher‑level support teams and ensure timely follow‑up and resolution.
Expected Results
* Operational Continuity: ensure uninterrupted business operations and system availability.
* Quality Service Delivery: provide efficient, timely, and professional IT support.
* System Reliability: reduce downtime and improve infrastructure performance.
* Documentation & Reporting: maintain detailed logs, resolution notes, and preventive maintenance reports.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or Desktop Engineering roles.
* Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, networking fundamentals, hardware, and peripherals.
* Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems and incident management processes.
* Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic security checks.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
* Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, Microsoft, or CCNA are a plus.
