Job Title: Scrum Master
Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months Engagement Model: Independent Contractor / Contract
Work Model: Nearshore – Remote
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST)
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join a Product & Engineering environment, supporting one to two Scrum teams and contributing to the continuous improvement of Agile practices.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for a professional who is comfortable working with distributed teams and collaborating closely with Agile leadership.
* Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, ensuring alignment with Agile principles
* Support and guide one Scrum team, with potential responsibility for a second team
* Partner with an enterprise Agile Coach to improve team performance and delivery
* Assist with the implementation and adoption of SAFe practices
* Identify, escalate, and help remove impediments impacting team progress
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement through experimentation and feedback
* Work closely with mid-level managers and cross-functional team members across multiple regions
Required Skills & Experience
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:
* 2+ years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master
* Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Scrum of Scrums)
* Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework); certifications are a strong plus
* Experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
* Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and navigate team conflicts
* Experience working with distributed, global teams
