Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain scalable backend systems for a robust, global messaging platform.
* Collaborate with the product team to suggest and develop new functionalities.
* Architect and develop APIs for incredible conversational experiences and integrations using modern development technologies.
* Actively participate in discussions about product features and technical solutions to solve customer problems and scale our solution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Requirements:
* Solid experience in a functional language like Elixir, Erlang, Go, Rust, or Clojure.
* Experience developing RESTful and gRPC APIs.
* Strong knowledge of distributed system architecture, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
* Practical knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
* Solid understanding of relational databases.
* Experience with Unit Testing and Integration Testing.
Languages and Communication:
* English is a must.
* Good English reading skills from the start and be willing to dedicate yourself to learning the language.
