HSE Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our team. This role will involve leading a team of health, safety, and environment advisors and specialists, and ensuring that they have the necessary capability and expertise to support line managers and employees in implementing policies, standards, programs, and practices.

Key Responsibilities
">

* Serve as the primary HSE interface within your assigned area of responsibility and cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE.
">
* Assist line managers and supervisors in understanding their obligations, liabilities, and requirements for role fulfillment, as per local HSE law and management requirements.
">
* Ensure that HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards, processes, guidelines, and best practices.
">
* Oversee HSE risk assessment conducted by line management and ensure all necessary preventive measures against identified hazards are implemented.
">
* Ensure HSE incidents are reported to management and relevant stakeholders and take appropriate actions.
">
* Drive behavioral change through local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.
">
* Embed an exemplary health and safety culture and a strong focus on the environment across your respective organization.
">
* Report HSE performance and progress with respect to the implementation of group-level HSE objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as required.
">
* Participate in determining the annual budget for your own area of responsibility and be accountable for managing performance against agreed financial targets.
">
* Drive HSE-related learning across the organization for continuous improvement.
">
* Ensure feedback is provided to management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within your own unit and across the organization.

Requirements
">
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">
">
* A completed university degree in engineering or technology (Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical / Electro-electronic). Postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety is preferred.
">
* Previous experience as an HSE manager.
">
* Experience in developing Prevention Programs in Occupational Health, Safety, and the Environment.
">
* Solid knowledge of Regulatory Norms NRs, especially NR-10 for electrical safety, and NBR, Applied to Occupational Safety; social security legislation.
">
* Solid knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 - preferably lead auditor.
">
* Language: Advanced/Fluent English required. Spanish is desirable.
