The RoleWe are seeking aSenior Data Analyst / Modelerto join our team in Brazil.
This is asenior, customer-facing positionwhere you will lead data initiatives across countries, working directly with international clients and internal engineering teams.
You'll be responsible for designing and implementingsemantic and dimensional data modelsin Snowflake, enabling powerful insights in Power BI, and guiding customers on best practices.
Beyond modeling and analytics, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring that data solutions align with business needs and drive measurable impact.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadcustomer-facing data initiatives (in English), serving as the main point of contact for analytics and modeling discussions.
Design and implementsemantic, dimensional, and aggregated data modelsin Snowflake.
Build and optimizePower BI datasets, including aggregations and performance tuning.
Write and reviewcomplex SQL queriesfor analysis and validation.
Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and clear insights.
Guide customers onbest practices in data modeling, analytics, and BI strategy.
Collaborate with international teams (Australia, Thailand, Brazil and Europe) to deliver end-to-end data projects.
Mentor and support other analysts and engineers on modeling and BI practices.
Skills & QualificationsProven experience as aSenior Data Analyst / Data Modeler.
Strong expertise inSnowflake,dimensional modeling (Kimball/Inmon), and semantic layer design.
AdvancedSQLskills for data transformation, analysis, and optimization.
Deep knowledge ofPower BI, particularlyaggregations, large models, and performance tuning.
Excellent communication skills inEnglish(both written and spoken).
Strong business acumen — able to translate technical solutions into business value.
Experience leading client-facing projects across countries.
Bonus: knowledge ofretail, e-commerce, or hospitalitydata.
