Key Responsibilities of Android Developer
We are seeking an experienced and skilled android developer to join our global tech team. This is a 100% remote opportunity open to professionals based in Brazil with fluent English.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of android development experience using Kotlin (Java is a plus), a proven track record of shipping high-quality android apps, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Design, Develop, and Prototype High-Quality Android Applications: Design, develop, and prototype high-quality android applications (internal and external).
* Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering Teams: Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver impactful features.
* Own the Full App Lifecycle: Own the full app lifecycle: concept, design, build, test, deploy, and release.
* Contribute to Architecture Decisions: Contribute to architecture decisions and continuously improve development practices.
* Mentor Fellow Engineers: Mentor fellow engineers and help define coding standards and workflows.
* Stay Up-to-Date with Latest Android Platform Features: Stay up-to-date with the latest android platform features and trends.
Requirements:
* Android Development Experience: 5+ years of android development experience using Kotlin (Java is a plus).
* Shipping High-Quality Android Apps: Proven experience shipping at least one high-quality android app with a team.
* Software Engineering Principles: Solid understanding of software engineering principles and android ecosystem constraints.
* Mobile Application Development: Experience building scalable, reliable, and responsive mobile applications.
* Communication Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Environment Adaptability: Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
