Job Title: Tax Strategy Leader
Tax Compliance Expertise
* The Tax Strategy Leader will oversee all indirect tax compliance, strategic planning and optimization initiatives to ensure seamless adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Directly responsible for the preparation and timely submission of tax returns, encompassing PIS/COFINS, ICMS and ISS filings.
* Collaborate with internal teams to maintain and enhance a culture of tax compliance, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall strategy.
* Cultivate strong working relationships with auditors and tax authorities, managing audit responses effectively.
* Analyze Brazilian tax legislation updates and assess business implications, providing actionable recommendations for compliance enhancement.
Necessary Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Law. Advanced qualifications or certifications highly valued.
* Prolonged experience in indirect taxes, tax compliance and strategic planning.
* Knowledge of tax reform principles.
* Superior interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement.
