We are looking to hire a key member of our Finance team at our Brazil location.The purpose of the Finance Manager role is to provide FP&A, financial analytic support, and business partner support to identified stakeholders to maximize financial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:Financial Accounting & ReportingOwn and manage the country's general ledger and financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and corporate accounting standards under IFRSSupport the global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and proceduresPartner with external service providers (e.g., accounting firms, tax consultants, payroll vendors) to ensure high-quality service delivery and performanceCoordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.Serve as the primary point of contact for local financial institutions, tax authorities, and regulatory bodiesTaxation & ComplianceOversee all tax-related matters including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and other statutory obligationsEnsure timely and accurate tax filings and payments in compliance with local lawsLiaise with tax advisors and authorities during audits and assessmentsInternal Controls & ComplianceOperate and assist in maintaining the system of internal controls, including monitoring the performance of internal controls in countrySupport the design and rollout of standardized global policies, procedures, and controlsSupport internal and external audit processes and remediation of control deficienciesStrategic Support & Special ProjectsProvide financial insights and analysis to support business planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and cost optimizationTeam Leadership & CollaborationSupervise the work team (third-party service providers) by guiding, training, monitoring performance, and evaluating results through close partnership and regular Contract Performance ReviewsRequired Skills7-10 years of requisite experience with general leger accounting, technical accounting and both, direct & in-direct taxStrong knowledge of local tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards as well as International Accounting StandardsExperience with SAP or another comparable ERP preferredFluent in EnglishEducation, Certifications & LicensesBachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting requiredCRC credential preferred--------------------------------------------------The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this classification.
