Join to apply for the CoM Supplier Auditor Specialist role at Barry Callebaut Group.About The RoleThe CoM Supplier Quality Auditor Specialist is responsible for conducting supplier and Co-Manufacturer audits across a diverse range of products sourced globally. The role covers our highest risk materials and includes coaching/shadowing Supplier Quality auditors. These audits verify adherence to BC's Food Safety and Quality standards. The role also facilitates the closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and oversees Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to maintain or elevate supplier quality. The position will support the regions during supplier quality issues.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Audits: Execute supplier audits, especially for high-risk and new approvals across global supplier networks. Include follow-up audits performed by 3rd party auditors. Involve in more complex audits (higher-risk raw materials) or audits covering a broader scope (competitors, customers).Reporting and Communication: Prepare detailed audit reports communicating findings and outcomes to suppliers and BC's internal supplier quality team. Engage in ongoing dialogue with suppliers to close audit gaps through corrective actions.Analysis and Improvement: Analyze trends from supplier audits to identify areas for strengthening BC's supplier quality requirements. Collaborate with sourcing and R&D to prioritize audits that align with key business initiatives.Support Initiatives: Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing supplier performance and reducing NCRs. Assist the Regional Supply Chain Performance Management & Supplier Improvement Manager in various improvement activities.Leadership and Oversight: Manage and guide GSQ Auditors and 3rd party auditors, including shadowing. Take a leadership role in planning, executing and reporting audit activities. Support regions during supplier quality issues.Scope: LATAMAbout YouBachelor’s degree in Food Science / Bio Science / Chemistry Engineering or equivalent.At least 15 years of experience in Quality and Food Safety.5+ years of Quality Assurance and Food Safety auditing experience in Food / Pharmaceutical / Feed environments.Advanced English and Spanish are mandatory.GFSI certification schemes requirements.HACCP and prerequisite programs.FSMA, GMPs, and Food Safety & Quality requirements.Auditing skills – Leading supplier audits, assessing imminent risks and taking decisions. Formal training and/or experience with implementation is desirable (Lead Auditor and/or Food Safety Auditor certifications preferred).Pre-knowledge on lethality processes such as roaster, pasteurizer, and sterilizer is a plus.Writing Audit Reports and excellent written/verbal communication.Independent leading profile and decision-making ability.Travel required (Approximately 50–60% travel).Location: Paulista Avenue, São Paulo, BrazilAt Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity & Inclusion.
