Job Title: Advanced Process Control Specialist
About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Process Control Specialist to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB. As a key member of our process control group, you will be responsible for the routine monitoring and optimization of advanced process control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Routine monitoring and troubleshooting of APCs to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
* Reporting on APC performance to stakeholders, including weekly reports and monthly KPIs.
* Development and maintenance of new and existing APC solutions, with opportunities to work at various client sites.
* Training of operators and other interested parties on APC systems and procedures.
* Data analysis and support for software and hardware upgrades related to APC equipment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Advanced Process Control (APC) Certification from recognized institutions or organizations.
* 3+ years experience with OSIsoft PI Historian and Honeywell Experion PKS.
* Proficiency in process controllers, industrial communication protocols, and networking skills.
* Experience configuring and administering Windows domains and OPC connectivity.
* MS Excel-macro based tools and basic control algorithms.
