Job DescriptionAbout youWe are looking for an experienced QA Performance Engineer responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring quality assurance strategies and procedures to give our clients the best service to ensure the non-functional requirements for performance are met.You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:4 years (minimum) as a QA analyst.Experience with Azure services and distributed systemsKnowledge of performance testing and proven experience developing automated test cases using JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, etc.Understanding of REST APIs and network performance conceptsKnowledge of Azure Monitor, App Insights, Grafana.Scripting with Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.Version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD integration.Experience with SQL Server profilingKnowledge of automation and agile methodologies (SCRUM).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Fast paced learning and collaborative mindsetStrong written and oral communication skills in English are mandatory, as you will be working directly with US-based clients.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:Plan, analyze, design, develop, execute, and present results and automated test scenarios and maintain test data; this includes determining priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios.Identify opportunities for automation within software processes, considering non-functional requirements.Create, and implement performance testing strategy according to the performance needs of the different organizations.Coordinate the test plans with project managers, development managers and others.Initiate the planning, analysis, design, implementation, and execution of tests, monitor test progress and results, and check the status of exit criteria (or definition of done) for the Performance requirements.Automate collection and delivery of test progress and test summary reports.Support the selection and implementation of automation tools (JMeter, NeoLoad, LoadRunner).Introduce suitable metrics for measuring test progress and evaluating the quality of the testing.QualificationsKnowledge of automation and agile methodologies (SCRUM), ISTQB certification (CFTL is a plus).Additional InformationHere at Applaudo Studios values as trust, communication, respect, excellence and team work are our keys to success.
