Software Engineer II – FSS &TMS Team The Software Engineer II will be working on the FSS ,TMS & Finspect Team. This role would be focused on enhancing the FSS, TMS platform, updating and redesigning the applications with the most cutting edge technologies to optimize performance and make it Next generation fraud detection solution. In this role, you'll leverage your deep Java expertise along with emerging Generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity, code quality, and team velocity.Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Java-based applications.Support both the evolution and continued modernization of existing applications and the design and delivery of new cloud based applications in an agile environmentCreate and present design solutions that have partial or system wide impactDesign, develop, deploy, configure, document, and debug extensive enterprise systems, while properly escalating issues to meet deadlinesApply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development lifecycle, and ensure reuse of code Coordinate with QA for end to end testing and post-production testingGood understanding of Object-Oriented Programming/Design principles Understanding of, and experience with, software development best practices Good understanding of open source application frameworks Effective verbal and written communication with clients in a business and technical mannerProblem solving skills and the ability to work with innovative solutionsStrong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and understand key issues quicklyAbility to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make technical and team decisions and assumes responsibility for those decisions while keeping management informedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field5+ years of experience with progressive Java (1.8 and above) development experience including J2EE in enterprise level scalable, distributed and fault tolerant environments. Experience in developing Restful Microservices Services using Spring boot.Proven experience with GenAI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot is a plus.Experience with Docker, Kubertetes, Istio, ArgoCD and SnykExperience in any front end frameworks like Angular, reactJS, Primefaces etc is aplus.Proficient with MS SQL Server queries Experience in Creating & Maintaining lower environmentsExperience participating in the full lifecycle of projects, including effective use of version control, build management, unit testing, and issue tracking software (ex. git, Maven, JIRA)Experience with Azure cloudExperience with Splunk, SQL and Dynatrace.Experience with open source object relational mapping toolsExperience with various platforms like Windows server, Linux/Unix.Collaborate with QA testing in the research and writing of test cases along with participating in system testing.
