Job Title: Digital Asset Specialist
A metadata expert with experience managing large-scale digital asset libraries is sought after to play a key role in enabling AI tagging systems, maintaining asset integrity, and ensuring long-term scalability of the DAM.
* This individual will be responsible for organizing and managing large volumes of assets in enterprise DAM platforms, creating and applying consistent folder structures, naming conventions, and tagging standards.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong quality assurance mindset, providing human-in-the-loop support alongside AI tagging tools, and be comfortable working across teams to implement governance policies and metadata best practices.
The successful candidate will also have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to teach/train content governance and DAM operational policies to teams that have different levels of understanding of the subject matter.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Digital Asset Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing metadata models, taxonomy structures, and controlled vocabularies to improve asset discoverability and usage.
* You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all assets are properly tagged, categorized, and stored in the DAM, making it easier for users to find and utilize them.
* In addition, you will provide training and support to marketers and content owners on how to use and maintain structured DAM systems, helping them to effectively manage their digital assets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, communications, or computational linguistics, and at least 3 years of experience in managing an extensive digital asset library.
