Role and responsibilities
The Landholder and Reforestation Delivery Manager is the primary field‑based interface with landholders, communities, reforestation contractors, and other local stakeholders for Nature Co’s projects in Brazil. The position will build and manage a pipeline of landholders interested in reforestation, lead outreach and onboarding, coordinate site inspections, collect relevant data required for carbon standard checks, and oversee signature of landholder agreements. The role also ensures compliance with contracts and carbon standards, coordinates schedules between landholders and contractors, confirms site readiness, conducts field quality audits, documents progress, resolves issues, and maintains landholder relationships throughout implementation.
Primary responsibilities
* Engage, onboard, and manage a pipeline of landholders.
* Map priority municipalities and referral partner networks;
plan and run outreach activities, events and information sessions.
* Manage the landholder onboarding process through CRM/trackers.
* Prepare information packs and respond to inquiries promptly.
* Maintain ongoing landholder relationship management for retention and smooth site access.
* Coordinate site inspections and diagnostics (parcel boundaries, vegetation, access, water, risks).
* Support land tenure verification and FPIC documentation.
* Lead closure of contract signatures.
* Maintain organized repository of all landholder records.
* Translate signed agreements into implementation‑ready site plans.
* Align field schedules with landholders and contractors.
* Support delivery of field progress reports and escalation of issues.
* Monitor reforestation activities and coordinate rapid response with contractors/landholders.
* Plan and document stakeholder consultations and community meetings.
* Support grievance mechanism operations.
* Coordinate access for project staff and contractors.
* Lead or assist development of formal monthly, quarterly and annual project reports.
* Prepare ad hoc reports, documents and presentations.
Skills and attributes
* At least five years of experience in reforestation projects with direct contact with rural landholders and service providers.
* Degree in forest engineering, agronomy, ecology or environmental science.
* Intermediate English and native Portuguese language skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong project management skills and experience with timelines and deliverables.
* Proactive, self‑starting approach, ability to anticipate problems.
* Collaborative mindset and ability to lead and motivate teams.
* Strategic and technical guidance across complex projects.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
* Positive, energetic personality with resilience and drive.
* Extensive travel within Brazil required.

Remote, residence in Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo or Bahia.
