Contamos com você para Responsibilities: - Define and lead scientific programs to develop and understand thin film coating architectures for energy-efficient glazing. - Be a scientific reference in thin film optics, driving deep exploration into deposition-process-structure-property relationships. - Guide and review experimental plans and scientific outputs across multiple projects; ensure scientific rigor and innovation. - Contribute to patents, publications, and technical reports, strengthening Saint-Gobain’s IP and scientific reputation. - Mentor and coach internal teams to build world-class local expertise in thin film science and modeling. Requirements: - MSc (PhD desirable) in Materials Science, Physics, Solid-State Chemistry or a related field, with at least 5 years of postdoctoral or industrial R&D experience. - Recognized expertise in materials science, physics or chemistry, particularly optics and thin film coatings. - Strong track record in scientific research, with contributions to publications, patents, or advanced technical projects. - Experience in designing and analyzing multilayer systems through modelling and characterization. - Comfortable representing the scientific program regionally and internationally, including presenting results to internal boards and external partners.
