Job Overview
In this role, you will own WorldEd's academic operating system, ensuring our pedagogical model, standards, and daily operations are consistently executed across classrooms, schedules, and systems. As the Principal's right hand, you will safeguard instructional quality through observation and feedback, translate strategy into clear routines and metrics, and ensure the school runs smoothly while improving over time. You will also support coordination with external accreditation bodies and American education organizations, including the US State Department of Education, Cognia, The College Board, and NCAA.
Availability & Travel Expectations (important)
This role includes on-site presence (3+ days per week in São Paulo) with some flexibility during key moments in the academic calendar. From time to time, you may participate in evening or weekend activities such as school events. There may also be occasional opportunities for travel to partner schools or professional development events.

* Act on behalf of the Principal during absences, ensuring stability and informed decision-making.
* Support compliance with accreditation requirements (Cognia, College Board, NCAA, US State Department) through documentation, trackers, and reports.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in academic operations within an American or international school context, with exposure to US accreditation standards and American curriculum frameworks.
* Proven ability to run academic operations: scheduling, routines, execution discipline, and follow-through.
* Strong instructional judgment, including experience observing classes and providing actionable feedback.

* Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in a hands-on, execution-focused environment.
* Excellent communication skills for meetings, documentation, and sensitive stakeholder conversations.
* Strong organizational skills, reliability under pressure, and comfort handling multiple concurrent priorities.

* Exposure to multi-campus, multi-program, or international school networks.
This Role Is Not for You If...
* ... you avoid accountability for outcomes and prefer to stay in an advisory or opinion-only capacity.
* ... you struggle with the pace and ambiguity of a small organization where roles extend beyond a narrow job description.
* ... you prefer to "hand off" problems instead of owning them through to resolution.
* ... you do only what is explicitly assigned and avoid going the extra mile when needed.
What We Offer

* Hybrid work model: 3+ days on-site in Sao Paulo (Zona Sul);
availability for nationwide travel (evenings/weekends as needed).
