Regulatory Compliance Specialist Job Description
This fully remote role focuses on researching and tracking global trade regulations primarily across Latin America and North America. The analyst will act as the first point of contact for new legal and regulatory changes and work closely with business analysts and ERP/GTS specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and maintain up-to-date awareness of legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts.
* Track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions (U.S., Canada, Latin America, etc.).
* Interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity.
In addition to these responsibilities, the analyst will also be required to:
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of global trade compliance regulations and their impact on business operations.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on trade compliance matters.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective trade compliance strategies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in trade compliance or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of global trade regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
