OverviewWe are looking for a full-time, remote QA Engineer with 6 months to 2 years of work experience, preferably quality assurance related, to join the software engineering team of our U.S. client. The right candidate must have a passion for delivering seriously cool technology on time, utilizing industry best practices, and working in a fast-paced environment.Our client is on a mission to make people more productive by providing cloud-based document management and file sharing solutions that automate routine, repetitive tasks. They are a subsidiary of a publicly traded company that trades on the London Stock Exchange. With hundreds of thousands of users already onboard today, our client is in growth mode, developing new products to serve the U.S., the United Kingdom, and the Australian and New Zealand markets.ResponsibilitiesWork with the Scrum Team to understand new featuresTranslate user stories into detailed working test cases to ensure that the test scope is adequateAnalyze test results to ensure correct functionality and interact with the team for the resolution of defectsEnsure complete testing-related documentation (e.g., JIRA and Confluence pages)Participate in software releasesWork on all team tasks independently with minimal need for oversight, as well as display a willingness to ask questions when needed to remain efficientExercise a bias towards action but understand when to pause and reflectTake pride and interest in your workRequired ExperienceExcellent English communication and collaboration skills6 months to 2 years of work experienceBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university OR relevant work experience instead of a degreeWorking knowledge of Agile development practicesProficient in learning technology quicklyHigh attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office-type tools (e.g., Excel and Word)Ability to logically break down various testing paths to cover all possible scenariosPreferred Experience (Not required)General quality assurance experiencePerformance testing experienceSelenium, Postman, or Nightwatch experienceAWS knowledge and experienceWorking knowledge of SQLAdditional InformationKnow that your ideas are heard and matter think big!Own your job and be recognized for your contributionsWork with smart, creative peopleMaking mistakes is human.
