Role Overview:This role is responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of end-user workplace technology. You will provide hands-on onsite support, resolve technical issues promptly, and collaborate with global IT teams to maintain a seamless user experience.Key Responsibilities:Provide onsite, hands-on support for end-user workplace technology, including laptops, thin clients, and peripherals.Perform hardware-related tasks such as cabling, device delivery, setup, imaging, reimaging, and resets.Manage local IT stock and storage, ensuring accurate asset tracking, availability, and inventory control.Act as onsite support for the technical room, providing basic server and networking assistance under guidance from remote teams.Coordinate with global AZ Tech teams to ensure smooth integration, issue escalation, and resolution.Troubleshoot and resolve first-level hardware, software, and connectivity issues.Coordinate with Lenovo for end-to-end resolution of hardware-related incidents.Assist with password and security-related issues, including BitLocker, BIOS, and related access challenges.Handle incident management and troubleshooting for software and network-related issues.Support software packaging activities for AVC/AMC.Support AGN services, including SD-WAN, WiFi, LAN, and Video Conferencing (VC), during outages, upgrades, and infrastructure refreshes.Assist with IT onboarding processes, including license activation and IT service enablement when self-service options fail.Must-Have Requirements:Proven experience in end-user IT support for both hardware and software environments.Basic understanding of server and networking concepts.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly for hardware and connectivity issues.Experience managing IT hardware stock, inventory, and asset tracking.Nice-to-Have Skills:Familiarity with software packaging processes.Experience with SD-WAN and enterprise connectivity services.Knowledge of security and password management systems such as BitLocker.
