Job Description
Globally/regionally defines and executes sourcing strategies, including:
Leading sourcing activities for purchasing services, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established policies, optimizing price, delivery, and terms.
Responsible for supplier performance review and providing feedback to vendors.
Category Management: Deliver specific category goals within a category plan in line with organizational procurement strategies.
Cost Evaluation: Analyze costs, identify variances, and find opportunities to improve profitability.
Sourcing: Analyze market dynamics, cost drivers, and identify innovative or alternative suppliers with minimal risk and costs.
Contract Management: Manage a portfolio of contracts, negotiate service level agreements, and support major contract activities.
Managing Complexity: Analyze complex information to solve problems effectively, considering multiple perspectives and root causes.
Ensuring Accountability: Meet commitments and handle responsibilities professionally.
Effective Communication: Convey information clearly and professionally tailored to different audiences.
Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
8–12 years of procurement experience in commodities, energy, raw materials, or heavy industry sectors, preferably within multinational or matrix organizations.
Proven sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills across regions or globally.
Experience with category management, especially in services, equipment, and technical commodities.
Strong contract lifecycle management skills.
Experience with supplier performance evaluation and KPI development.
Knowledge of cost accounting principles.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, engineering, and operations teams.
Experience in multicultural and cross-border environments.
Understanding of international trade regulations and geopolitical risks.
Languages
English and Portuguese required.
