A global financial institution is looking for a Business Analyst with experience in FX Markets to support the evolution of trading and market infrastructure platforms.
The role involves working closely with trading desks, product specialists, and technology teams to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions across the FX ecosystem.
Role Overview
You will act as a key interface between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping shape solutions that support trading, pricing, and electronic market access. The position requires a solid understanding of FX products as well as the ability to structure requirements and support the delivery lifecycle of technology initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
* Work with trading and business teams to understand workflows and translate them into structured functional requirements
* Support the design of system integrations and APIs, ensuring proper data flows between platforms
* Analyze trading processes and identify opportunities to optimize or streamline existing solutions
* Participate in the delivery lifecycle, including requirement clarification, testing support, and user validation
* Collaborate with global teams across technology, architecture, and product to ensure alignment on project objectives
* Maintain clear and well-structured documentation of functional specifications and process flows
Profile
* Previous experience as a Business Analyst within FX or Global Markets environments
* Good understanding of FX products such as spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs, or electronic trading flows
* Experience working with API-driven systems or integration projects
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex topics clearly
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving and collaborative environment
Additional Skills
* Exposure to electronic trading platforms or market connectivity environments
* Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks in financial services
* Experience using tools such as Jira or Confluence
* Basic knowledge of SQL or Python for data analysis or validation
