OverviewWe are seeking a Trilingual Attorney in Brazil, fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. We are a leading provider of mission-critical background screening solutions for recognized Fortune 100 and Global 500 brands.What You’ll DoTrilingual (English, Spanish and Portuguese) Corporate Staff Attorney supports LATAM and reports directly to the SVP, Legal and Contracts Administration. You will prepare, review, and approve a wide range of business contracts, evaluate contractual risks, negotiate with internal and external teams, and resolve issues to enter into mutually beneficial agreements. You will ensure that activities, policies, business practices, and transactions comply with all relevant laws and regulations. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects and deadlines.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and approve legal contracts and other documents to protect the organization’s legal and business interests.Collaborate with stakeholders to revise contracts and modify standard terms and conditions for mutual benefit.Represent First Advantage in contract negotiations with external clients and partners; advocate for the company’s business interests.Assist in revising standard form contracts and developing new forms to advance strategic interests and recurring business.Provide analysis and counsel on existing policies and the development of new policies.Perform legal research and manage special projects as needed.What You Will Need to Be SuccessfulFully trilingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese with excellent oral and written communication in all three.JD or equivalent from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law.3+ years of corporate contracting experience, with at least 2 years in sales/procurement of services.Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or CertificationsExperience with background checks and data privacy laws preferred.Proficient with MS Office, DocuSign, Adobe and/or similar tools.Experience with CRM and CLM tools and data management applications (Siebel).Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build/maintain positive relationships with management, peers, and stakeholders.Training in and understanding of common business, technical, financial, and legal practices.Strong knowledge of contract management principles and guidelines; analytical skills related to contract information.Ability to evaluate risk, urgency, and prioritize tasks; strong organizational abilities and track record of managing urgent projects concurrently.Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work; proven excellence in written and verbal communication and conveying complex information.Ability to develop and maintain executive-level relationships; strong negotiation skills; ability to communicate effectively across all levels while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with processes.Why First Advantage is Your Next Big Career MoveFirst Advantage is undergoing a technology transformation.
