Job Description
As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business growth through data-driven insights.
You will work closely with product managers and owners to gather business requirements and document them effectively.
You will be part of an Agile Product Delivery team, leveraging reporting tools like Office and Power BI for analysis.
Your primary goal is to develop roadmaps that drive the company forward, acting as a liaison across various areas such as business units, information technology, and outside customers.
You will refine Product Backlog Items together with the Scrum Team and other subject matter experts to ensure the team understands those items at the required level.
You will have a proven track record of launching software/solutions or services in partnership with business and engineering teams.
You will inspire a team to act as a small business jointly accountable for its product.
You will successfully drive end-to-end delivery of highly innovative products, including digital core, dashboards, APIs, cloud, e-commerce, real-time alerts, and artificial intelligence.
Key Requirements:
* Combination of IT and business experiences, with business focus areas including Supply Chain.
* Experience working directly with product managers & product owners for Business Requirements Gathering & documentation.
* Good to have knowledge of Power BI, Snowflake, SAP ERP, and SAP HANA, SQL knowledge.
* Leverage reporting Tools for Analysis like Office, Power BI etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, prioritization, and time management skills.
The candidate should also have experience working for a global, highly matrixed, Consumer Packaged Goods company, preferably in the Supply Chain domains.
A deep understanding of cloud data lakes and data warehouse systems (systems and data) is essential.
Familiarity with MS Power BI for Business reporting and Self-service is a must.
The candidate should have prior experience creating automated data quality management rules.
