An exciting opportunity has arisen as **Head of Aftermarket Sales**, reporting to the VP of Aftermarket Sales, Americas. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales in the region. You will be on a highly motivated team who are responsible for customer relations in the region as well as ensuring order intake. You will work closely with our product centers in the Nordic to ensure effective customer and sales leadership.
You are responsible to develop regional sales budget for your assigned segment and use strategies and plans and to ensure optimizing ways of working between the region and our product centers to the best of our customers. Working effectively across our business is key and you will be interfacing and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders and colleagues.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Through successful management of the team, grow order intake and revenue aiming for highest possible margins
- Define sales budget, targets and objectives for your area collectively and for individual employees
- Support the team in building strong, long-lasting customer relationship, through close cooperation and understanding of customer requirements
- Ownership of aftermarket customers with responsibility to maximise customer satisfaction
- Monitor performance (KPI’s) of individuals and sub-regional sales team. Initiate actions as required when performance and / or targets are off track
- Monitor pipelines on a regular basis and make sure it is kept updated in the CRM system, and that key opportunities are followed up closely
- Monitor and follow up customer issues and ensure solutions are found and communicated to customer
- Identify and report on emerging markets, market trends and shifts, and new business growth opportunities in your area
- In close cooperation with management, develop and implement sales plans and strategies supporting business opportunities and growth
- Identify applicable marketing campaigns for customers in the sub-region and monitor implementation, feedback and results achieved
- Develop a strong team through building increased competence levels, right behavior and culture, ONE KM
- Work closely with products, Service Delivery/International Operations to secure good cooperation, ONE KM
- Ensure maintenance planning activities are initiated by sales teams towards customers on a regular basis (Yearly), and that benefits, through early and structured planning, are achieved
- Identify potential LTSA customers, negotiate and sign agreements where we consider it strategically important to secure
- Ensure your team is familiar and adhere to Kongsberg’s processes and procedures
- Be pro-active in proposing improvements or changes in ways of working
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Portuguese speaking preferred
- Bachelor's degree and/or 10+ years of sales or Technical Field Service experience
- Relationship Management experience
- Experience establishing and executing successful sales activities or Customer Support activities
