Equifax is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our dynamic team in São Paulo, Brazil. In this hybrid role, you will play a pivotal part in driving insights that shape credit strategies and policies across the financial ecosystem. We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong background in banking, financial services, or credit policies, and a passion for transforming data into actionable intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze complex credit product and customer data to support the development and refinement of credit policies and risk management strategies.
* Translate business challenges and customer needs within the credit lifecycle into data-driven insights.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to design and deliver credit solutions based on robust data analysis.
* Create visualizations and statistical models that provide clear, actionable insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Ensure data quality and integrity across all analysis and reporting processes.
* Leverage advanced tools to manipulate large datasets and build predictive or descriptive models relevant to the credit and financial domain.
Required Qualifications
* Strong experience in the banking, financial services, or credit risk domain, specifically with credit policy analysis and risk assessment.
* Proven track record in credit product data analysis, data science, and data management.
* Proficiency in BigQuery, SQL, and Python for data processing and analytics.
* Solid understanding of statistics, data visualization, and analytical tools applied in a credit context.
* Bachelor's or higher degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
* Excellent communication skills—able to articulate technical findings to business stakeholders clearly and effectively.
* Fluent Portuguese and English at B2 level or higher.
Preferred Attributes
* Experience with predictive modeling or machine learning in financial services.
* Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards in the credit/financial sector.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
