Job Description
As an e-commerce expert, you will navigate complex challenges and build robust, scalable, and secure technological solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Shopify cloud solutions and associated products, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency while collaborating with the IT security team for compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and optimize Shopify cloud solutions and associated products
* Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs for integration and external communications
* Maintain the frontend of the Distributor Vendor Tool using modern JavaScript frameworks
* Work with project managers, UX/UI designers, and developers for clear communication and project alignment
* Participate in code reviews and maintain solution documentation
* Develop and execute testing plans using automated testing frameworks
* Stay updated with the latest technologies and lead innovation initiatives to enhance digital products
Required Skills and Qualifications
For this role, we are looking for a candidate with:
* A Bachelor's degree in software engineering, development, or related field
* 8+ years of experience in software engineering, development, and e-commerce solution architecture
* Extensive experience with Shopify (Ver 2+) including Shopify checkout experience, content management, and involvement in at least one full-scale project
* Proficiency in API technologies (SOAP, REST), Middleware tools, and web application design and analysis
* Experience in customizing Shopify's front-end components using layout XML, blocks, components, templates, and React
* Knowledge of integrating Shopify with enterprise ERP systems and utilizing third-party web services
* Comprehensive understanding of Store Catalog processes and Sales Orders processes
