Job Description
Execute import and export operations, ensuring legal compliance, logistical efficiency, and cost optimization, acting as a strategic link between the company and the international market.
* Plan, monitor, and execute import and export processes for products, raw materials, or services.
* Prepare, review, and control customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, licenses).
* Negotiate with suppliers, international clients, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
* Coordinate international logistics (sea, air, and road), ensuring deadlines and cargo integrity.
* Monitor logistical and tax costs, proposing improvements and cost reductions.
* Ensure compliance with national and international regulations (Customs, health authorities, trade agreements).
* Use systems such as Siscomex and ERP platforms for foreign trade management.
* Track global market trends and identify commercial opportunities.
* Use systems such as Siscomex, ONESOURCE Global Trade (OSGT) and ERP platforms for foreign trade management.
* Support audits and prepare management reports for leadership.
Qualifications
* Degree in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, International Relations, or related fields.
* Knowledge of customs legislation, special regimes, tariff classification, and foreign exchange operations.
* Expertise in import/export processes and international logistics.
* Proficiency in foreign trade systems (Siscomex, ERP).
* Advanced English (Spanish is a plus).
* Intermediate/advanced Excel skills.
* AEO(Authorized Economic Operator), Drawback, Duimp and Ex-Tariff knowledge
