Account Manager Job Summary
The Account Manager will oversee the execution of client PR campaigns by developing and implementing strategic plans, conducting targeted outreach, and maintaining regular communication with both clients and media contacts. This role ensures client visibility across national, regional, podcast, radio, and TV platforms, while also contributing to broader brand awareness and engagement.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies tailored to each client
* Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
* Build, grow, and create new client relationships
* Conduct thorough research and build targeted media lists
* Secure, filter, and respond to media opportunities
* Schedule and coordinate media interviews, ensuring all logistics are handled
* Follow up with media contacts to confirm placements and coverage timelines
* Monitor coverage through tracking tools and track mentions or product features
* Facilitate writing projects with team members in alignment with client goals and deliverables
* Monitor industry trends and identify timely angles for client exposure
* Provide regular client updates and maintain consistent communication
* Prepare and send biweekly and monthly reports and lookbooks
* Maintain updated media trackers to record media coverage and interview status
Results:
* Meet or exceed the expected number of interviews or media features
* Clients receive timely and proactive communication on campaign progress

Requirements:
* Ability to work 40 hours plus per week to meet client needs
* Proven experience or education in public relations or a related communications field
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational and time management abilities
* Proficient in Google Suite, Gmail, and media monitoring tools
* Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive mindset
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Information
The starting pay for this position is $693/month USD.
