What the Platform Team Does at MAVI
Platform Management drives the strategic side of our recruiting ecosystem, interpreting client needs, aligning talent, and ensuring successful placements. The Platform team is responsible for running the core operations of MAVI's talent marketplace. They manage the full journey, from understanding customer needs to matching talent, placing them in roles, and ensuring both sides have a great experience. Their work ensures the marketplace runs smoothly, efficiently, and with high-quality service.
About the Role
We're hiring a Platform Specialist who can help drive the lifeblood of our talent marketplace - the end-to-end process from talent matching, talent placement & account management. This person will work directly with the current Platform Manager at MAVI and work as a tag team to close deals, manage ongoing engagements, resolve ad-hoc issues that arise, improve processes & work with the engineering team to inject automation into various workflows.
What You'll Do
- Work with Leadership and the Platform Manager to understand job needs, ideal candidate profiles, and help match the right talent to open roles.
- Serve as the main point of contact for MAVI customers, build trust, manage ongoing engagements, and keep them regularly updated.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers by understanding their goals, preferences, and business needs.
- Support the end-to-end matching process by reviewing candidate documentation and identifying best-fit talent for open positions.
- Write compelling, clear, and engaging job descriptions to attract talent from our internal network and match them with active opportunities.
- Assist in creating professional and polished candidate profiles for presentation to customers.
- Provide support throughout the hiring process, ensuring consistent communication between talent and customers to keep things moving.
- Resolve issues that arise during active engagements, ensuring alignment, satisfaction, and long-term success for both parties.
- Collaborate with leadership and other internal teams to refine and enhance our account and engagement management processes.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4-9 years of experience in account management, staffing, recruitment coordination, or a related role.
- Very strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, is a must.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, and customer relationships in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to work in high-speed environments, to operate with high urgency, and be extremely customer-centric.
- High level of discretion and judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Experience working with global clients or in remote-first environments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and adapt quickly to change.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and strategic approach.
