In this role, you’ll support and enhance core P&C operations while acting as a trusted partner to both employees and managers. You’ll play a key role in fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture and ensuring an exceptional employee experience across the organization.This is a remote role based out of California with a requirement to be onsite at the Davis, CA office as needed.Responsibilities & DutiesSupport full-cycle recruitment, from job postings, sourcing, interviews and onboarding.Ensure a smooth, positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.Maintain and update HRIS systems with a focus on data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process improvementsSupport benefits administration, leave tracking, and policy implementation.Support the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives.Assist in identifying training needs and developing customized programs for employees at all levels.Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust as needed.Help ensure compliance with labor laws and internal procedures, supporting audits and documentation.Collaborate on People & Culture projects, from performance management to engagement initiatives.Assist with processing P&C related invoices and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) in coordination with the Finance team.Assist with day-to-day employee relations by responding to questions, escalating concerns, and supporting positive workplace interactions.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Experience: Prior experience with Human Resources, People Operations, or related experience is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.Skills: Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Technical Proficiency: Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and an ability to learn new software quickly.
