Key Responsibilities : Design, write, test, and optimize Assembler code for mainframe systems.Maintain and enhance legacy Assembler applications to meet business needs.Collaborate with teams to integrate Assembler components with COBOL / Java applications.Optimize system performance using tools like IBM RMF and OMEGAMON.Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues using advanced debugging tools.Mentor junior developers and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.Contribute to system modernization strategies and decisions.RequirementsExpertise in Assembler (HLASM) programming and mainframe systems (IBM z / OS, MVS, CICS, DB2).Experience with performance tools (IBM Debug Tool, Abend-AID, OMEGAMON).Strong knowledge of memory management and system programming.Experience integrating Assembler with COBOL, PL / I, or Java.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues7+ years of experience in Assembler development, with at least 5 years in mainframe systems.IBM Certified System Programmer and z / OS Mastery Certifications are a plus.Very good command of English (C1-C2 level).
