Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Engineering Manager to lead our distributed team of software engineers. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving execution, ensuring technical excellence, and fostering a high-performance culture that delivers reliable, scalable, and high-quality products aligned with our strategic goals.
Your primary objective will be to oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance. You will partner with our CTO and Product Manager to translate product roadmaps into engineering execution plans and manage delivery timelines, resources, and technical dependencies to ensure on-time releases.
Additionally, you will establish and enforce engineering best practices across code quality, smart contract security, and infrastructure reliability. This includes ensuring scalability, security, and performance in blockchain and microservice-based environments and driving the adoption of modern DevOps practices (IaC, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automated testing).
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong technical background in software development, including experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or C#). You should also possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and the ability to balance technical depth with people management and cross-functional alignment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. You should have at least 7 years of software development experience, including 6+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
Familiarity with blockchains such as Ethereum and other blockchains is preferred. Experience with DeFi trading and software engineering background in frontend and backend services development is also beneficial.
An understanding of microservice architecture and cloud-based deployments is essential. Experience in modern software development practices such as infrastructure as code, test automation, CI/CD, and containerization is highly valued.
