About a Global Release Team
Our team works on the coordination and release of software products to meet business objectives. We collaborate with various teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure the quality and timeliness of releases.
The role involves planning, coordinating, communicating, scheduling, and facilitating software releases. It also requires collaborating with development, QA, operations, and change management teams to ensure readiness and quality.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and communicating release progress, identifying risks, escalating issues as needed, facilitating release meetings, maintaining release calendars, reviewing testing outcomes, working with QA to address defects and improvement opportunities, developing and maintaining release documentation, producing reports and metrics on release performance, and ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.
Qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and 4+ years of experience in release coordination, change management, or related IT governance roles.
We are looking for individuals who can work effectively across technical and business teams, have analytical skills to interpret metrics and identify process improvements, and are comfortable working in Agile or iterative development environments.
