The team builds, tests, and publishes Ubuntu images used by millions, ensuring performance and security in cloud environments. The goal is to deliver excellent cloud VM experiences and specialized images for various purposes, celebrating and enabling cloud providers' unique features while maintaining a consistent user experience.As an engineering manager, you will bring technical expertise and leadership skills. You will also represent your team in partner engagements, ensuring stability and functionality for cloud users. Your responsibilities include automating image delivery for diverse workloads, from web servers to GPU-accelerated AI, across servers, VMs, and containers.Your primary responsibilities as a manager include supporting your team’s growth, ensuring valuable work, and fostering a positive environment. You will challenge and develop your engineers, influence company culture, and collaborate on strategy and delivery.The role involves working primarily in Python and Golang. You are expected to be fluent in these languages, architecture, and components your team builds.
