About The Role
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for providing logistics support to the business areas across the region, including inbound transportation both domestically and internationally, as well as outbound transportation within the national territory.
About The Department
This position will be part of Fuller Brazil’s Procurement Team, which supports the regional activities of purchasing, follow-up, and logistics.
Your Responsibilities
Contract outbound freight within the national territory for all external customers.
Contract inbound transportation both domestically and internationally.
Issue purchase orders for all inbound and outbound freight, ensuring that no transport document remains without processing/payment.
Receive and verify inbound and outbound freight purchase requests.
Negotiate with carriers/warehouse/external customers to secure the best conditions for vehicles, transit time, schedule, and loading dates.
Define the appropriate type of vehicle according to cargo dimensions and weight (experience with load consolidation required).
Ensure that all shipments are scheduled in the system, creating efficient visibility for the warehouse and all stakeholders.
Ensure that logistics costs are monitored, managed, and kept under control.
Coordinate all Door-to-Door import and export processes in collaboration with the support team.
Perform follow-up of international shipments, ensuring compliance with the committed delivery dates.
Report and act on SLA — Service Level Agreement performance.
Execute bidding processes for international freight contracting for spot shipments.
Work closely with all internal customers, providing guidance on foreign trade matters and acting as a subject‑matter expert.
Identify opportunities to reduce total import costs through tax benefits and/or special customs regimes.
Ensure compliance with the global international freight BID, in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Coordinate freight forwarders and customs brokers, ensuring performance and addressing necessary corrective actions.
Participate in kick‑off meetings and provide direct support to the sales team.
Be involved early in quotation processes, negotiations, and feasibility studies for new projects involving imported products.
Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the company related to the area’s processes and the position.
You bring
Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics Technology, or related fields.
Experience in domestic and international logistics related to transportation of machinery and equipment.
Knowledge in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
Advanced knowledge of Brazilian customs legislation.
Nice to have a postgraduate degree in the area.
